Product Description
Design & Construction of the spreader shall be in accordance with BS 2573:Part or EN 13001 or equivalent. The speader structure should be consisted of a centre body, two-twin lift sliding frames and four telescopic sliding beams. the centre body should be made of four longitudinal box beams and the twinlift sliding frames & telescopic beams also should be of box construction. Each Twin Lift sliding frames are attached with two twin lift arms(one on seaside& other on land side) tht twist locks are attached with and can be slides on Centre Body. These Twin lift arms are positioned on middle of the centre body and should be retracted when the twin lift spreader operates as single lift spreader. The Electrical equipment and the cable system shall be well protected in the centre body. The hydraulic unit assembly (comprising the variable displaceent pistion pump, motor, tank, valves and filters)should be entirely enclosed within the centre body to ensure maximum protection from possible damage. Upper lifting pad eyes shall be provided on four corners of centre body and lower lifting pad eyes shall be provided on both, Center body and Telescopic Beam ends. The control valves for twist locks and flipper arms should be mounted in such a way to protect from shock and impact load.

3.01 | mounting | Power unit of the spreader shall be mounted on the spreader using proper vibration dampers to protect the poer unit from heavy vibrations. Oil tank should be made of stainless steel and should have a level& temperature indicators. |
